placing an order.
Ordering Information
ARTWARE accepts payment by Paypal, MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card* or by Check**. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
An email confirmation will be sent following your order.
You will be notified as soon as possible if you have ordered
an item that is no longer in stock. Furthermore, ARTWARE
may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse
service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We
will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of
our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or
not that merchandise has been sold; removing, or editing
any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process
a transaction or suspending any transaction after processing
has begun.
Most orders ship within 5-7 business days
with the exception of custom designs which may be delayed
by the availability of the materials. Merchandise paid for
by check will be held until the check clears. A $25 fee
for returned checks will be charged.
*Payments made by MasterCard, Visa or Discover are subject to standard credit card authorization via email/telephone confirmation. Additionally, all orders paid via credit cards are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy from the time of ordering. Thereafter any cancellations will be charged a 10% restocking fee based on your total order amount. You will be notified once your order has shipped whereupon you acknowlege full responsibility for your order.
** We take all reasonable care,
in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details
of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of
negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any
loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized
access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering
from this Site.

Merchandise Return Policy
All merchandise is sold with a return privilege under the
following conditions, with the exception of sale items which
are final, and earrings, which for hygienic reasons are
also excluded from the return policy.
Should you wish to return an item(s), please contact
us within 3 days of receipt, providing the order and
item number(s), and the reason for the return. You will
receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and a shipping
address. No exchange or credit will be issued without an
RA#. Packages received without an RA# will be refused and
sent back at the customer’s expense.
All returned merchandise must be in new and unused condition.
New and unused means that there are no marks on the item
or any wear on the tags. We do not sell used items and will
not accept a returned item with any indication that it was
used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the customer
at the customer’s expense. Merchandise must be returned
in the packaging in which it was shipped, along with a copy
of the original invoice, and with the RA# clearly marked
on the outside of the package. Shipping must be prepaid
and is non-refundable. The item(s) must be returned within
10 days* from the date of receipt. For
your protection please send all returns via UPS, insured
Parcel Post (USPS), or any method where you will be given
a tracking number. The package should be sent insured as
ARTWARE is not responsible for returned merchandise until
it is received.
Returns will be accepted under the above conditions for
a one-time exchange** or a store credit,
exclusive of all shipping and handling charges, which are
the full responsibility of the customer. Exchanges are made
for items of equal or higher value provided the customer
pays the difference along with any additional taxes, shipping
and handling charges. Store credit will be issued in the
form of an Authorized Credit Number (AC#) that may be applied
by you to any future order, including a Gift Certificate.
This credit must be used within six (6) months from the
date of issue at which time it will expire. It may not be
applied to any pending order already placed. Email confirmation
will be sent following our receipt and acceptance of the
returned item(s).
ARTWARE is not responsible for
any item that is not returned in the manner set forth above.
Should your order arrive in less than perfect
condition due to damage incurred in transit, please save
all packing materials and contact
us immediately for further instructions.
* 10 days means you can evaluate
your purchase for 10 days, starting on the day it is delivered
by UPS or USPS according to their tracking. For an
approved return, your package must be postmarked by the
10th day following receipt.

Order Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel an order you have until 4PM EST
of the same day that the order was placed without penalty;
orders placed after 4PM have until 4PM EST of the following
day. After that time there is a charge of 10% of the total
order, including postage, handling, and insurance charges.
These rules apply whether it is a partial or full cancellation.
You may opt instead for a store credit, in which case there
is no penalty.
ARTWARE reserves the right to cancel an
order in full or in part for any reason whatsoever. An email
advising you of the cancellation will be sent as soon as
possible and all charges will be voided.
Please be advised that once an
order has been placed, it will be subject to the above rules
without exception.

Custom Orders
ARTWARE welcomes the opportunity to work
with you to create a truly unique and personal piece of
jewelry. To order a custom piece, contact
us and let us know what you are looking for, how soon
you need it, and your budget. After we agree on the design
and the materials to be used a Custom Project Agreement
will be sent to you, which you must sign, and fax or email
back to us. A 50%, nonrefundable deposit is required for
all custom orders. We will notify you upon completion of the
piece at which time the balance of payment will be due.
Once complete payment is received the finished piece will
be shipped to you insured. Generally we allow about three
weeks for fabrication and shipping, although rush orders
can be accommodated.

Jewelry Care
Chemicals can mar the finish of your jewelry.
We advise that jewelry be put on after you have applied
perfume, lotions, hair products, etc. Storing silver jewelry
in a sealed bag or container will slow down the tarnishing
process. 3M 'Silver Strips' placed in your jewelry
box will also delay the build up of tarnish. A 'jeweler's
cloth' is useful once tarnishing has begun, and a mild
cleaning agent used as directed will restore the shine on
tarnished silver without marring the surface. Mild soap
and water and gentle buffing with a soft cloth will restore
the shine on gold and can be used on most gemstones without
damage to the stones.
